On April13,1988, the7th National People’s Congress, the deputies discussed and passed the resolution on the Establishment of Hainan province as well as building as a special economic zone, which would facilitate further development of the economy and the advance of people’s living standards.On December31,2009, a document about promoting the construction of Hainan international tourism island was formally announced by the Central Committee of the C.P.C and the State Council, which marked the construction of Hainan International Tourism Island has been considered as a national strategy. The development of Hainan’s economy is in face of an important developing opportunity. In this both opportunities and challenges of the times, how to seize the opportunities to cope with the challenges is an unavoidable responsibility of Hainan people.So,we should pay more attention to the healthiness status of the Li’s teenagers, because they affect the construction of Hainan international tourism island.This article mainly focus on the developing changes of the healthiness status of the Li students in the25years from horizontal and vertical aspects. The comparison between the indexes of the Li students in1985and in2010is called vertical comparison, and the comparison between the indexes of the Li as well as the Han students in1985and in2010is called horizontal comparison. This is the characteristics of this study. In this study, he main research method includes literature collecting,, field study, statistic method and comparative analysis, etc.Through the horizontal and vertical comparison of the Li students’physical qualities, analyzing the reasons and then putting some proper proposals for further enhance the physical qualities and improve the healthy status of the Li students as well as promoting the teaching and curriculum reform. The main results of this study are as follow:1. speed quality1.1overall, the speed qualities presented a falling tendency from1985to2010from the horizontal comparison.1.2from the vertical comparison, the speed qualities of the Li students were much better than the Han in1985, but it became much smaller to the year of2010. 2. strength quality2.1from the view of horizontal comparison., the average of the Li students’muscle strengths significantly increased from1985to2010.2.2from the view of vertical comparison, there were not significant differences between the male students of the Li and The Han in1985, but the strength qualities of female students of Li were better than the Han. To2010, the strength qualities of male students of the Li wereworse than the Han, and the female were not significant differences.2.3from the aspect of low limbs strength, the male students of Li’s standing long jump is more and more further, the female seemed not any changes from1985to2010.2.4from the view of vertical comparison, the Li’s standing long jump were much further than the Han, but it became more and more smaller to2010.3.endurance quality3.1from the view of horizontal comparison, it showed that the endurance of the Li students declined obviously.3.2from the view of vertical comparison, the male students’endurance of the Li were better than the Han in1985, but it comes not significant differences to the year of2010. For the female students, the Li were better than the Han,in1985, but the Han were better than the Li in2010.(the age of12were excepted)4.flexibility quality4.1from the view of horizontal comparison, the Li students were not as flexile as the Han in sit-and-reach test4.2from the view of vertical comparison, there were not significant differences between the Li and the Han students in the sit-and-reach test in2010. At the age of12, the male students of Li were more flexile than the Han students in the sit-and-reach. And the female students of Li were more flexile than the Han students at the age of9or12.5. proposals5.1the interventions of speed quality in sunny sportsIn order to improve the speed quality, teachers should encourage students do some sports of track and field and play balls in their free times. 5.2the interventions of strength quality in sunny sportsTeachers can ask the students to play sandbag, this will not only improve the students’ low-limb explosive strength, abdomen strength and upper body strength, but also the reaction speed when they throw and hide the sandbag.5.3the interventions of endurance quality in sunny sportsTo gradually improve the students’interest in sports, teachers and schools should have the consciousness to organize some activities or games, such as football, basketball, rope skipping which will make student take part in doing sports in their free time and achieve the aims of improving all aspects of physical quality, especially for endurance.5.4the interventions of flexibility quality in sunny sportsPhysical teachers should encourage students and guide students to do sports in their spare time, such as broadcast exercise, shuttlecock, martial arts as well as football, badminton and ping-pong,which is good for improving flexibility.
