The junior school students are in a critical period of personality and individual socialization.Prosocial behavior is a performance of the quality of nation, social and individual and the inner required ofharmonious society. Seizing the critical period of shaping personality is contributing to helping schoolsbetter for adolescents quality education, directed training prosocial behavior, the cultural heritage andsocial education of the new generation of power, promoting modern develop good quality, and all-rounddevelopment of the people.Training prosocial behavior is interrelated with family factors closely.Parent-child relation plays an important role in family. Researchs shows that gratitude and prosocialbehavior was highly correlated and parent-child relation was significantly positive predict the level ofgratitude. Since the lack of mediating mechanism of previous discussion on the parent-child relation andpro-social behavior, it is necessary to study the interaction mechanism between the two parts.The results show that:1.The parent-child relation is in the medium or higher level of junior school students. The relationbetween the child and the mother is better than his father. The parent-child relation of junior schoolstudents are varied in different grade, only child, migrant works’ children, parents’ educational level;There was no significant gender difference in parent-child relation of junior school student.2.Prosocial behavior is in the medium or higher level of junior school students. In the types ofpro-social behaviors of middle school students, reporting the most is the urgent prosocial behavior. The restis followed by compliance, emotional, anonymity, altruism and openness. In general, the differencesbetween junior school students of prosocial behavior are significant in grade, only child and migrant works’children. But in the gender, parents’ educational level, the differences are not so obvious.3.In general, there is significant correlation in parent-child relation and prosocial behaviors ofjunior school students. The relation between the child and the father or mother is significant correlation inprosocial behavior and their factors.The parent-child relation of junior high school students is significantlyrelated to the gratitude and the three dimensions correlation; Gratitude and its each factor are significantlypositive correlated to each factor of prosocial behavior. 4.The gratitude of Junior school students could not cause completed mediating effect betweenparent-child relation and prosocial behavior.
