The experiment is unique in the development of natural science practice based biology is anatural sciences based on experiments, carried out in high school biology teaching experimental teaching isan important and indispensable part of biological education, train its students hands-on skills, analyticalproblem-solving skills, scientific way of thinking and rigorous work has a very important role. Concernedabout the teaching of biological experiments, emphasized in the new curriculum standards advocatedinquiry learning, and comprehensively improve the scientific literacy of students, training students tocollect and collate the ability goals of scientific information is an important aspect of the biology teaching.In this paper, by the method of analysis of questionnaires and other secondary schools at alllevels of Kaifeng and other areas of biology experiments, the survey found that:(1) teachers’ conceptionsslow change in the understanding of the concept of the new curriculum is not in place, teaching too muchattention to the inculcation of the concept of knowledge, ignore the experimental teaching, but also ignoresthe scientific method of education. Do not attach importance to the students’ experimental skills andthinking ability.(2) experimental class to open a lack of funding, a shortage of laboratory equipment, anddampen the enthusiasm of biology teachers to carry out experimental teaching.(3) biology curriculumTeach relatively low, not only to complete the teaching of theoretical knowledge, but also attention to thecultivation of students’ experimental skills in the limited class, which carry out exploratory andexperimental teaching in time and space a certain extent.(4) a single mode of the current rating the biologycurriculum evaluation system is not complete, too much emphasis on the evaluation of the knowledgestructure, and often only able to examine the the experimental course evaluation of the students’ ability inthe papers appear in the form of questions, rarely examined the level of the students of the experimentaloperation, which greatly affect the enthusiasm for biology teachers to carry out biological experimentslesson.In response to the problems identified in the survey, and high school biology teachers tocommunicate, we believe, to change the existing "light experiment, heavy theory" teaching mode should bechanged from the following aspects: First, as a biology teacher, emphasis on systems theory literacytraining and expertise to do "real" and "deep","live" to fully understand the role of biological experiments in teaching; the experimental funds to increase investment, improve laboratory conditions, Updatedlaboratory equipment, optimize the experimental environment; Third, according to the characteristics of thestudents and course content to carry out many different types of experimental teaching, try to ensure that allstudents are able to experience the process of scientific inquiry, the development of students’ practicalability and creative ability; Finally, change existing evaluation model to the experimental activities lessonevaluation incorporated into the overall biology curriculum evaluation, focusing on experience sharingprinciple, in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the biological experiment course.
