With the development of the new round of curriculum reform, the geographical education is alsochanging. Agrestic geography education increasingly getting attention, has become the focus of educatorsand one of the hot spots of research. However, due to many educators, the agrestic geography education donot worth enough attention and understanding, so that they are not ready prepared for the new newrequirements of the agrestic geography education with the new background. New curriculum standard’sgoal setting for agrestic geography education is quite high, requiring educators pay more attention tostudents’ exercise ability and teach students geography technology for lifelong development. For such goals,if educators still remains in the traditional ideas and teaching mode of geographical teaching methods, itwould be difficult for them to meet the requirements of new curriculum standard. Therefore, how to find afeasible way to teach local geography is an issue which worth thinking and research, and local geographycurriculum resources development and utilization is the foundation of the problem.This article based on the local geography curriculum resources development and utilization,guided by the spirit of new curriculum reform ideas to explore how to develop local geography curriculumresources, and by the classroom practice of agrestic geography education to finally solve the summary ofreflection on the teaching practice, summing up experience, put forward the local geography curriculumresources development and utilization of some specific and feasible strategies.In the introduction part introduced this article research background, research significance,research methods and research ideas, writing framework are reviewed in this paper.Through literature review, define the curriculum, curriculum resources and related concepts ofagrestic geography; Finishing the analysis of scholars both at home and abroad of course resources, localgeography and local geography curriculum resources development and utilization of research progress.Under the background of get inspired by the literature review, the author of junior high schoolgeography teachers to carry out the agrestic geography education the teaching ability of the situation oflocal geography education and schools for the investigation. Using questionnaire of local geographycurriculum development situation questionnaire for junior middle school geography teachers in henan province; The effectiveness of using the SPSS17.0test data; Of junior high school teachers in henanprovince to carry out the agrestic geography education teaching ability of the data, and carries on theanalysis.On the basis of analyzing the data, the author has carried on the teaching practice. Respectively inthe two parallel class to carry out the original local geography curriculum and\"agrestic geography as aschool-based curriculum teaching content with\" new development of local geography teaching, accordingto teaching after the implementation of the teaching effect feedback and questionnaire survey, to studentsgeography as a supplementary assessment tool, analysis of the effect of two classes teaching differences;According to the survey results to make the teaching summarize and reflection.Finally, summarize the main research conclusion of the article, and introduces the are:1. Junior school geography teachers grasp of the local geography curriculum knowledge level ishigher, but in the classroom teaching of local geography knowledge of the practical application level is low.2. Make full use of local geography curriculum resources, improve the effect of the agresticgeography teaching, improve the students’ ability and geographic literacy, and raised the teachers’professional level and professional quality.3.
