The geography curriculum standard of compulsory education is guided by the idea of learning useful geography for life and lifelong development and constructing an open geography curriculum.This is a new proposition of the geography curriculum reform of compulsory education.With the advancement of the new curriculum reform,the 2017 edition of the geography curriculum standard of ordinary senior high school was officially promulgated,and the core quality of geography was put forward.It is imperative to cultivate the necessary geographical literacy of modern citizens.It must be done.Local geography,as a necessary part of geography,plays an increasingly important role in geography teaching.Local geography teaching is also one of the important guarantees and inevitable requirements to implement the new proposition of geography curriculum reform.Integrating the development of local geography curriculum resources into geography teaching in local middle schools can help stimulate interest of students in learning,help students to know their hometown and understand their hometown,and enhance their love for their hometown and motherland.Based on this,the author takes Shaodong County of Hunan Province as an example to carry out the case development of the rural land science curriculum resources.Through literature collection and research,field investigation,case analysis and other methods,combined with the geography curriculum standard and the eighth grade textbook,the Shaodong County The rural land resources are classified into seven categories ofnatural and human aspects.According to the principles of case design and development,relevant literatures are selected from the core journals of geography education in the past three years,from teaching objectives,teaching content,case composition,the development strategy is analyzed in four aspects,and the enlightenment of case development is obtained.Then,the five most representative and suitable teaching themes are selected from the resource classification overview.Five teaching cases are developed based on the theoretical basis and the hometown reality design,among which classroom teaching two cases,two cases combining classroom and extracurricular practice activities,one case of extracurricular practice activities,and finally summed up the general strategy of case development from case analysis and design.The results of this study are as follows: First,through textual materials and field visits,combined with curriculum standards,teaching materials,and local characteristics,the seven topics of Shaodong County's teaching case development for rural land science curriculum resources are screened out.Secondly,through the analysis and screening of fifteen cases,the basic methods of case development are summarized,and five teaching cases are designed and developed based on the principles of education,locality and practice.The development of the cases is complete and the teaching objectives are clear.The teaching content is objective,typical,with local characteristics and effectiveness,teaching methods and venues are practical,and the cases are complete and illustrated.Third,through analysis and design development cases,a general strategy for case development was obtained.The theme,content and mode of case development of rural land science curriculum resources should be clear;the selection of rural land management materials has objectivity,subjectivity,problem,inspiration and practical characteristics.The teaching resources should be guided by theoretical basis and must conform to the academic situation.The types of case development are classroom teaching and extracurricular activities.The classroom teaching cases are basically composed of name,teachingobjectives,teaching content,teaching methods,teaching process,evaluation reflection,and extracurricular practice activities are basically prepared according to the theme design activities.The mid-term implementation of the event and the review of the three activities will be carried out in the later stages of the event.
