The profound change of society brings about the reflection of the educational training goal,and the cultivation of geographical core quality becomes the main content of geography teaching in Senior High School.The realization of the general goal and the implementation of the main content all need the completion of high school geography teaching.This paper studies the application of local geographic resources in senior high school teaching from the perspective of core literacy,aiming at the active exploration of the cultivation of geographical core literacy,taking the development and utilization of local geographic resources as the carrier,contribute to the cultivation of students' sense of home and country.The requirements of the new curriculum reform for geography education in modern high schools are to start from students' all-round development and lifelong learning,guide students to pay attention to global geography problems,carry forward scientific and humanistic spirit,and cultivate students' innovative consciousness and practical ability,to strengthen social responsibility and the concept of sustainable development of population,resources,environment and society in harmony.This paper uses the method of literature to sort out the current situation of the research on the core literacy and the utilization of local geographical resources at home and abroad,and according to the consensus research results of Chinese scholars on the connotation,system of the core literacy and the teaching and utilization of local geographical resources,this paper designs the outline of the questionnaire,investigates and studies the problems related to the application of the local resources and the cultivation of the core quality in the present senior middle school teaching,sums up and analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward the strategies of the application of the local geographical resources in the senior middle school teaching.
