The Design for Chemistry course teaching is an indispensable part of the transition from Chemistry course teaching theory to teaching practices. People are appealing more and more keenly for teaching quality nowadays, research about high-efficiency classroom-teaching is a trend for current classroom-teaching reform. Based on educational psychology and high school chemistry course teaching practices, this theme studies the design methodology for high school chemistry course instructional design under the background of high-efficiency classroom.The concepts of high-efficiency classroom teaching are independence, cooperation and exploration. High-efficiency classroom teaching endeavors to cultivate students’ learning abilities and also considers the all-round development of students’ character and personality. It seeks the optimum results of teaching and learning while minimizing teachers and students’ workload. The following aspects are discussed to explore how chemistry course teaching can be designed:teaching content, background knowledge preparation, cooperative learning activity and scene creation. This theme raised a simplified version for the design of chemistry course teaching, and analyzed the teaching effect and focused problems, in order to support instructional design practice and research of high-efficiency chemistry classroom.This theme involves five major sections. Section One explains the significance of this study and introduces domestic and overseas research situations about this field. Section Two outlines the educational psychology basis for instructional design research of high-efficiency chemistry classroom. Section Three argues the basic methodology for Chemistry instructional design. Based on the practical investigation into high school chemistry course teaching, Section Four discusses chemistry instructional design for high-efficiency classroom. Section Five summarizes all research activities and outcomes, meanwhile reconsider about current status.
