Reading teaching as an important part of Chinese teaching, playing a vital role in it,student’s reading level affects the effect of Chinese teaching to some degree. As a result, mostChinese teachers have made a lot of efforts to improve the student’s reading level, themethods of reading teaching are in varied forms. Appeared the traditional Teaching Method,Question and Answer Method, Situational Teaching Method and “The Five Steps of TeachingMethod”,“Qian Menglong’s Reading Method”, Wei Shusheng’s “The Six Steps of TeachingMethod” and so on, while Ma Biao’s “The Six Steps of Questioning Teaching Method”opened up a new way on improving student’s reading level and interest. This paper willmainly discuss the “The Six Steps of Questioning Teaching Method” which is based onstudents’ requirements by means of studying on document and cases, trying to find a new wayto promote the improvement of reading teaching.This paper is divided into three parts: the first chapter will mainly analysis the origin ofthe Questioning Teaching Method, connotation and based on the theories such as DiscoveryLearning, Humanistic Thought, Constructivism Thought and so on, at the same time discussthe development of “The Six Steps of Teaching Method”, to get a preliminary understandingof “The Six Steps of Questioning Teaching Method”. The second chapter will deepen theunderstanding of the teaching method Ma Biao practiced by analyzing the implementation of“studying, discovering, thinking, dialogue, clearing up doubts, remaining questions”, andcompare with Wei Shusheng’s “The Six Steps of Teaching Method”. Analyzing Ma Biao’steaching records in classroom and summarizing various aspects of requirements of studentsand teachers in using “The Six Steps of Questioning Teaching Method”. In the last chapter,the author will use the idea of “The Six Steps of Questioning Teaching Method” to form ateaching idea about “Hong Men Yan”. At last, the author will analyze the disadvantages ofthe method and its differences with the actual teaching, trying to perfect its value in theapplication of the actual reading teaching.Although Ma Biao’s “The Six Steps of Questioning Teaching Method” provides a newperspective for reading teaching and broadens other teachers’ ideas of studying and workingin the future, some problems can not be ignored. Chinese teachers should minimize thedifferences between the actual teachings and consider its deficiencies when in reference to theteaching method, finding a teaching method which is suitable for their own and practicallearning condition when studying and innovating, to perfect “The Six Steps of QuestioningTeaching Method” in the application of the actual reading teaching. Chinese teachers shouldguide students to form a good habit of reading in the application of the teaching method, learnthe method of studying and reading independently, students’ humanistic quality can beimproved in the efficient reading teaching.
