According to the standard of Chinese language curriculum of Compulsory education ofChina, the fundamental of Chinese language teaching is to master the motherland language,develop children’s language ability. It has been proved that children’s poetry is a veryimportant resource part in primary school Chinese language learning. It is the students’ bestmodel and materials of learning and developing the Chinese language. It is loved very muchby elementary school students, because of its relatively short length, beautiful language,harmonious rhyme, meanwhile it’s full of children’s temperament and interest. So, how todevelop the children’s language ability through the poetry teaching is becoming worthwhilestudying and being discussed subject.After being engaged in the Chinese language teaching of primary school for many years,the author has accumulated lots of experience and study materials. And of the most critical,the author is taking to the creation of children’s poetry very much, which makes her theachievement named “three steps six paces” during the daily teaching process. This articleputs up a discussion mainly on the creation of children’s poetry, and talks about the formation,application, and effect of this method.The creation of children’s poetry makes a profound significance in cultural inheritance,aesthetic education, inspiration of creativity.But there are some problems in children’s poetryteaching at present. For example, we value very much on reading and value little on reciting;much on appreciation of old poetry and little on anylis; much on the reading material in thebooks and little on the way to understand them.So we put forward this teaching method toadjust. Meanwhile it is fit for the children’s language, and can help their development both onphysical, mental and cognitive.In specific,“three steps six paces” teaching method indicatesthree levels which refers to low, medium and advanced. We mainly gudie the students at lowlevel to creating children’s songs. We encourage the students at medium level to creatingsongs and copying the children’s poem. And we let the students at advanced level creat andcompose their own poem.“six paces” refers to reading, guidance, editing, ecaluation, painting,and showing. So to lead them to the poetry world of creating. We should also pay attention toatmosphere, time arrangement,and circumstances, etc.The effect of this method is significant,which makes students, teachers have improved a lot in many ways. This method can be used systemically to guide the students at different level on how towrite children’s poetry. It also can develop the children’s language ability from various aspectsand different points of view. Composing the children’s poetry can be more operational. Afterusing that, the students’ reading quantity obviously increased, and they use the language morevividly. And furthermore, the students enlarge their knowledge, edify sentiment, and reward agood virtue themselves during their reading the poetry.Through nearly eight years of practice proved that children poems for children theimportance of language learning.The children’s poetry into the classroom to the greatestextent to stimulate the enthusiasm of students,enhance the ability of sustainable developmentof students,allow students to experience the joy of creation,their powers of observation,imagination,language expression ability and the innovation ability of the control classes arefar more than the same grade.Only general process of children poetry creation teaching pupilschildren’s poetry creation “three sections of six step teaching method”of this paper,in theactual teaching teachers according to the need of practical adjustment and integration,thereasonable arrangement in practical teaching.Teaching can be a certain pattern,but certainlynot a pattern,teaching has no fixed forms,in your well,in teaching practice,teachers should goto the application of this teaching creative.
