The history curriculum standard of ordinary senior high school affirms the role that"history" as a humanistic foundation discipline plays in the national and cultural spiritheritage, and this part of the value is classified as “emotional attitude and value” objective.History emotional cultivation goals of senior high school can not be achieved wit houtdrawing on the experience of history. In the last century, the national historians hadcommitted to the development of national "intellectual history and national spirit", and theyhad achieved good results, and Qian Mu is one of the representatives. For today’s high schoolhistory emotional cultivation, especially “the cultivation of patriotism and national spirit andthe national outstanding traditional culture heritage" etc emotional goals achievement, hishistorical representative works and ideas still have reference value.This paper is divided into three sections to explore the enlightening meaning of theChinese historical view of Qian Mu to the high school history emotional cultivation.The first part investigates and discusses the problems of today’s high school historyemotional cultivation, and finds the cause of the problem is diverse through reflection. Fromthe perspective of teachers, the lack of emotional cultivation experience, relevant theory andthe value guidance is an important reason.The second part reviews the background and main content of Chinese historical view ofQian Mu, which tides up the overall view of Chinese ancient history, Chinese ancient politicalsystem and cultural ideas from Qian Mu "Outline History" and "Introduction to the History ofChinese Culture" etc representative writings.The third part pays attention to explore the enlightenment value of Chinese historicalview of Qian Mu to today’s high school history emotional cultivation, which takes forexample that the overall grasping principles of the teaching content of senior high schoolChinese ancient history part and special topic value and important problems analysisinterpretation of Chinese ancient political system.Note that, Qian Mu and his view of history is not the only worth one to senior highschool history emotional cultivation. It is worth further to discuss the advantage of works andthoughts of other historians, especially other ethnic historians historical thought in the20thcentury to high school history emotional cultivation for the scholars.
