The bilingual phenomenon is the phenomenon of individual or collective use oftwo or more languages. The psychological characteristics of the second languagelearners are being paid great attention by more and more linguistic and psychologicalresearchers. In our country,especially in the study of Tibetan and Chinese bilingualphenomenon. The research takes the Tibetan secondary vocational students as theresearch object to test the cognitive abilities of Chinese sentence with the method ofself questionnaire. It explores the trends and characteristics of mastering the Chineselanguage statement in the process of Chinese sentences’ comprehension andapplication by Tibetan secondary vocational students who are native Tibetans. I hopethis research can give some helpful advices to the Tibetan and Chinese bilingualteaching. The results are as follows:It can be seen through the analysis of the three topics that the exercises about thetone and the simple sentence exercises have significant positive effect for the masteryof complex sentence. In comparison,the exercises about the tone has a moresignificant impact on the ability of the complex sentence.From the overall level of view,the correct affirmative sentence owns the highestscore while the wrong negative sentence owns the lowest score among the simplesentences. And among the complex sentences,the conditional complex sentence getsthe highest score while parallel complex sentence、causal complex sentence andundertake complex sentence have a lower score. Among the exercises about the tone,imperatives score higher while rhetorical question exercises score lower.From the view of the gender,we can find that the male score higher than thefemale in the simple sentence exercises while the results are counter in the exercisesabout the tone and the complex sentence.From the view of the grade,the score of the sophomore are higher than it of thefresh.From the view of learning time,we can know that the longer time the studentslearn,the better they can be in the mastery of Chinese sentences.From the view of the class leader,we can find that the class leader scores higherthan others in the aspect of complex sentences while lower in other two aspects. From the view of the parents’ education level,it explains the students whoseparents have a higher education level score higher.From the view of residence,we can find that the Chinese level of the urbanTibetan students is higher than the students who live in Pastoral areas.
