Children’s literature is the main body of the primary school Chinese literaryteaching material, and the primary school Chinese literary teaching material is themain body of the primary school Chinese teaching material, like the history of thechildren’s literature turning from ‘educating children’ to ‘liberating children’ and‘educating adult’, the history of the primary school Chinese teaching material is alsochanging from ‘the political’ and ‘the instrumental’ to ‘the interesting’. This paperattempts to take the thinking characteristic and the psychological acceptancemechanism of primary school children as the starting point and the basis to evaluatethe literary teaching material, to discuss how the literary education of children’sliterature makes ‘the educational’ and ‘the interesting’ unify which are seeminglycontradictory, to make them harmoniously coexist and mutually promote.This paper emphasizes to analyze the primary school Chinese teaching materialof PEP and BNU, and holds the view that the root cause why the material’s ‘interest’is lost is that the writers have bias on the view of children, they often exist as "hiddenspeaker" behind the works to forge the image of the child, produce a large number ofrestrictive text which is not conducive to the sound development of the children forthe purposes of ‘enlightenment’. The ‘Restrictive text’ has several typicalcharacteristics and hazards, its reform is necessary and urgent.In the end, this paper introduces the United States primary school language teaching material, the representative of foreign primary school language teachingmaterial, indicates that they have some advantages which are worth to learn, such aspaying attention to literary education, emphasizing the classic and flexibility onchoosing teaching material, in order to provide a reference for the reform of ourprimary school Chinese teaching material.
