With the development of deep reformation, more and more learned men began tomake focus on some real problems, the running mode of higher vocational educationchanged from school to learning based on work. Learning based on work became asolution to talents’ cultivation. In order to make this cultivation mode become true,curriculum reform is the key point. Curriculum like a bridge, which made aconnection between education theories and practice, and the realization of goal of anyeducation activity needs curriculum, and therefore, curriculum is the core of anyeducation reformation activity. In order to cultivate the quality of our highervocational education, now our countries are busy with professional vocational collegeconstruction, trying to build a group of good vocational college like the211universities, and the curriculum construction is the breakthrough point. Seeing abroad,some developed countries realized the characteristic and importance of highervocational education very early, they developed a curriculum of its own characteristicthrough STW(school to work) and school-enterprise cooperation. From STW andlearning based on work, they cultivated a lot of talents with high quality, and thusmade a contribution to social and economy development. The followings are thestructure of this paper:The first part introduced some basic things such as the backgroundknowledge、meaning、research methods and goals of this paper.The second part firstly gave an introduction to the development of curriculum ofhigher vocational education abroad, then made a summarization of some curriculumprovision mode, last made a conclusion to the developing trend of curriculum abroad.The third paragragh analyzed the history of our higher vocational educationdevelopment, then made a summarization of curriculum provision mode duringdifferenr periods, at last made a conclusion that we and abroad ran the same roadfinally, though with different processes.The fouth part made a curriculum comparison between our country andGenmany, in our advanced higher vocational colleges, here picked out three kinds ofcurriculum structures with different features, then make analyzations on Chinese andGermanny curriculum provisions.The last part pointed out some problems of curriculum provision in our highervocational colleges. Then make some principles and countermeasures on the curriculum development.
