People gradually deviated from the value orientation of the original of the true state with the high speed development of the science, and the improvement of the environment. However, the human desire has repeatedly raised.People don’t know where to put the hearts. Education has become the target of all the complaints and anxieties. Teaching reform still has no effect. The education does not want to sink in the jail of Confucianism, and also does not want to lose its original sprit in the internationalization process with blind pursuit of openness and freedom. Therefore, the author proposes to adapt and integrate from Lao‐tzu’s ’Tao‐te‐chung’. It is the only way to find one’s confused heart.Lao tzu is not only a great philosopher, but also an educationalist.’Tao‐te‐chung’ is full of valuable teaching ideas, and lays a vital foundation for the development of the Life Education.This thesis is divided into five parts.Introduction: describing the practical meaning and modern value of Lao‐tzu’s and the research ways and methods, etc.Background of the Lao‐tzu’s teaching thought: systematically discussing Lao‐tzu, his book and the background of his thought.Philosophical basis of the Lao‐tzu’s teaching thought: eliminating Lao‐tzu’s ecology and life philosophy, compared with postmodernism ecology education philosophy.Important content of the Lao‐tzu’s teaching thought: primarily elaborating the instructional objectives, contents, rules and methods, and clarifying the characteristics.Modern Enlightenment of the Lao‐tzu’s teaching thought: respectively discussing the teaching process in and out the class, and putting the focus on the subject of the education, teaching attitudes, justice, interaction and so on.
