Due to the difference of the living surroundings and learning environment, the minority high school students in Beijing as a special group among the high school students make them face some learning difficulties in the process of adapting the high school in Beijing, that’s to say, learning in-adaption. High school stage plays a very important role in one’s growth and development. Learning adaption as the core part of the learning life for the minority students has the direct relation with the academic achievement and future development for the minority students, as well as the equality of education for the schools.This paper took the class of2011students in the affiliated high school to Minzu University as sample, randomly drawing three classes, doing the questionnaire survey, collecting180valid questionnaires. Besides the writer has observed and interviewed some of the class of2011students for three years, analyzing the current situation of the learning adaption for the source of students out of Beijing as well as bring up some effective measures according to the related research at home and abroad.This paper is divided into five parts:Chapter one introduced the origin and background to select this topic and probed into the theoretical significance and practical significance of this paper, reviewing the research about the learning adaption at home and abroad as well as showing the theoretical basis and research methods. At last, it discussed and explained the main content and the emphases and difficulties and core concept.Chapter two firstly introduced the history, school motto and school spirit and the background of the students of the affiliated high school to Minzu University. And then through the questionnaire survey to the class of2011students and interviewing with the class of2010students, it described the current situation and existing problems of the learning adaption and analyzed them systematically by the software of EXCEL and SPSS in order to learn about the learning adaption from the perspectives of the new life environment, new learning and adolescent psychological adaptation to bring up three stages for the new students to adapt the new learning.Chapter three explained the reasons from the perspectives of Individual difference, region and the difference of human environment, the standardized evaluation system, the nature of high school study and interconversion phenomenon and cultural reproduction.Chapter four brought up the corresponding countermeasure from shool, society, teachers and parents.The research value of this paper is to offer some advice to the related department aiming at the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the source of students out of Beijing in the affiliated high school to Minzu University and to offer concrete method for the teachers to conduct the scientific and effective tutoring of adaption as well as to help the students to live through the learning adaption and adapt high school in Beijing. Besides, it shows a complete learning adaption process for the minority students who wish to study in Beijing and encourage them to be prepared for this and lead them to deal with the problems caused by the learning in-adaption in their practical life.
