| This study was to explore the relationship among the hope, the meaning of life and the goal orientation. Taking206undergraduates who come from nanjing normal university with an average age of21.13years as subjects, the implicit hope GNAT experiment," the adult quality hope scale ","the meaning of life scale" and "the goal orientation scale" as measuring instruments. The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS18.0and LISREL8.51. The results indicate:1. The implicit hope GNAT experimental is validity. The reliability and validity of Adult quality hope scale are remarkable. It is found that the two dimensions structure of hope is ideal and implicit hope and explicit hope belong to two separate structure. The result show that there is no significant difference of implicit hope in the demographic variable and significant differences of explicit hope are appeared in gender, education and grade variablet.2. The reliability and validity of the meaning of life scale and the goal orientation scale are remarkable. It is found that the two dimensions structure of life meaning and the three dimensions structure are ideal. The result show that there are significant differences of life meaning and meaning searching in education and grade variable and significant differences of learning goals orientation are appeared in gender and education variablet.3. The individual belong to learning goal orientation has the high level of hope resulet in higher level of meaning of life. Learning goal orientation can forecast the hope, path thinking and agentic thinking; hope with two dimensions and learning goal orientation can forecast the meaning of life and its two dimensions; performance goal orientation can forecast meaning searching. Hope has partly mediation effects between learning goal orientation and meaning of life.Based on the above results, this study suggests that implicit way can be used to measure hope. At the same time, the meaning of life can be predicted by hope and learning goal orientation. |
