The new generation of Migrant Workers is becoming slowly the main body in urbanemployment market. Clothing consumption has been given a social recognition feature, as animportant tool for the characterization of groups belonging and identity, and an effectivemedium of individual self-expression values. The article is divided into seven chapters.Concepts and population characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers aresummed up in five points, such as higher level of education, shorter farming-time,marginalization, breaking the social. Study discusses the status and characteristics of the newmigrant workers’ clothing consumption, by clothing selection criteria, type of clothing, thereference population, the amount of consumer information channels and place of purchase.The country social support networks, media participation, reference groups, andeconomic factors are affecting the the apparel consumer identity function. Economic capacity,family support, urban experience, institutional and policy play an important role in the publicidentity.Full employment social security, fair and efficient labor market institutions, practicalhousehold registration system change the optimization community of migrant workersinvolved in the environment are adopted to enhance the generation of migrant workersidentity.
