With the reform of the policy of economy and politics and the development of specializationof social workers in our country, the stationed social workers have come to play a role in thesociety. Being the main offers of the social work service, what expectations they get from thesociety? How do they learn and play their role in the society? And what difficulties they willencounter and how will they handle such difficulties? The thesis will cover such problems.The thesis applies the method of qualitative research, and tries probing into the issues of roleexpectation, role learning, role playing of stationed social workers and hardships and strategies bythe analysis of the interviewing7social workers in5social work agencies to get an clear idea ofthe process of role playing of social workers.By analysis, findings can get that the expectations of the society to the social workers are:1).They should have the special knowledge and skill of social work, and have passed the professionaltest and follow the social work ethics;2). Stationed social workers should have the specialknowledge of the involving field of the accrediting work place, and at the same time they need todo some office work;3). They should offer effective service and help the individual and collectiveto develop healthily to improve the harmony of the society by the work method of social workaccording to the demand of the program and the work place. So their role learning includes threeaspects:1). The education of special theory and values and practice in the university;2). Learningin the work includes the learning in the university after graduation, training under the supervisor,sharing the work experience among the colleagues and learning by themselves;3). Roleapperception of the accrediting social workers also includes in the role learning, and mainly theyshould understand their work object, work content and ethic.In their role practice, stationed social workers are office workers, at the same time, they arealso service offers, publicists, providers of resource, power gives, educators, organizers, directorsand managers. The practices are:1). Completing the office work of social agency and accreditingwork place;2). Offering various resources to the service objects, organizing all kinds of activitiesby applying cases, groups and communities to promote the individual of service objects, and helpthe social organization running healthily and improve the cohesion of the community;3).Managing and organizing volunteers to offer the service, and recruiting and training the volunteersand arranging and assessing their work, promoting their serving level to give fine service to theirservice objects.The hardships of the stationed social workers are:1). The difficulties of themselves, that are,because their knowledge and skills of profession are in a low level, and cannot correctly masterthe demands of the social agencies and accrediting work places, it is hard to provide theprofessional, effective and eligible service;2). Because the accrediting work places, office workersand service objects don’t understand and acknowledge social work knowledge, and accrediting work places lack assessing system, they don’t have any feedback about the achievement and thehardship of social workers;3). To the social agencies, the working settings are poor, the workingresources are deficient and the policy of the social workers payment is not perfect. To thestrategies, the accrediting social workers mainly deal with the problems by profession training, theaid of the supervisors, the social work agencies and the support of the accrediting work places andtheir relative and friends.To the issues of the accrediting social workers during their practice, the thesis tries to putforward suggestions through the four aspects of university, government, social work agency andaccrediting work place.
