The education of geography fieldwork has received more and more attention, and also bereferred to the teaching agenda by some schools. However, the geography fieldwork hasalways been the anguish of the teachers and students, and they can’t understand the geographyfieldwork’s specific meaning and value, can’t be sure the specific content and direction. Andthey don’t know the capacity that geography fieldwork could develop, can’t refine thegeographic fieldwork’s specific implementation strategy.In this paper, through the analysis of International Geography Olympiad (IGEO)Fieldwork Test (FWT) and its related matters, which has a strong influence in theinternational, defining the meaning and value of geography fieldwork, detailing the content ofhigh-school’s geography fieldwork; raising the geographical skills requirement of geographyfieldwork and the ability that can developed; listing the specific content and implementationstrategies for high-school’s geography fieldwork.In this paper, it takes Nationwide100Strong School Geography Teachers as therespondents, to make survey questionnaires for geography fieldwork and its related matters,finding out the current situation of geographical fieldwork of our country and laying a goodfoundation for the author’s research. |
