With the rapid development of science and technology, the pace of the modernization ofeducation is more and more fast. Currently use new media in ideological and politicalteaching in high school have the material and technical support, and assistance of moderneducation calls for new media. Use of new media in teaching, however, is still in the earlystages of exploration practice, in the actual operation has exposed many problems worthy ofthinking deeply of the use of new media how to achieve the unity of form and content, how tocoordinate the relationship between the teacher’s dominant and the students both, how torealize the effective use of new media resources to improve the effect of high school politicsclass and so on are worth further discussing.This paper attempts to lead the people to have a correct understanding of new media tochoose is suitable for high school thought political lesson teaching of new media teachingform; Strengthen the media literacy education; Change teaching method, idea and explorationmethods, such as high school thought political lesson teaching the new path.
