Coordinated development is the key point of the economic and social development. Economic development and social development supplement depend on each other. Economic development is the basic elements of social development. Without the economic growth and development, other social factors could not develop well. Social development can also promote economic growth and development. As we know,the development of would rely on science and education, it is very important for the country to make the education structure more reasonable,so that it would improve the economy.Based on related theories of the coordination between education and economy, this paper uses the regression model to analyze the relationship between higher education class structure and t industrial structure. The article includes mainly three parts:The first part reviews and summarizes briefly the theory of the higher education structure and the regional economy coordination. After inducing and summarizing the present domestic and foreign research, the paper studies the effects of higher education structure on the economy and society from the angles of pedagogy, sociology, economics, and examines the impact of supply (mainly is the change of labor market’s supply and demand) on higher education structure.Under the background of the present economic development and the adjustment of higher education structure in Guangxi, the second part analyses the current situation of the development of Guangxi’s higher education structure and the industrial economy, and their changes.The third part do empirical analysis of the coordination between higher education class structure and industrial structure in Guangxi. Firstly, we study the correlations between total economic growth and the enrollment of colleges and universities using the samples after the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities through the regression model. And then, according to the three industrial structure, we can divide the related professional enrollment in colleges and universities into three categories, then do regression analysis of the three industries and the corresponding class structure of enrollment. And on the basis of empirical research, the article puts forward the existing problems of the structural adjustment in Guangxi and recommends some useful policies of the structure adjustment of Guangxi’s higher education, combining the successful experience of the world higher education structure adjustment.
