The Teaching Design And Application About English Game Teaching In The Primary School

Interest is the goal of emotional manner in the English Curriculum Standard, thus the game teaching is the main method to train the students learning interest in English study. At present, the following phenomena exited generally on the game teaching of English in the primary school. Part of the primary school English teachers are tried to bring all kinds of games into the English teaching. However, the phenomenon of the game is inefficient, participate in narrow range and the game process incomplete are exists. In this paper, based on the characteristics of the English game teaching, and analysis the relevant elements of the game teaching, explored the effective application of way.First of all, the paper made an exposition of the definition of games, game teaching, English game teaching, and made a summary of theoretical basis of English game teaching, and then classified the class games of English in primary schools. Secondly, the present application situation of the game teaching through interviews, classroom observation method carried on the thorough investigation, analyzed and summarized the results. Then the paper analyzed the relevant elements of primary school English teaching, and according to the Dick-Carey (W.D ick&L.C arey) teaching design mode, combined with primary school grade four English material contents established English game teaching design dimensions, proposed the concrete teaching design implementation plan. Then the teaching cases were implemented in students, that they come from the four grade of Xixia district NO.2primary school, and then made a test volume survey of the teaching effect. Finally the paper analyzed the test results, and expounded the effects of the application, then thought back to the application of English game teaching.
