The widespread application of information technology is profoundly changing thepeople’s life, study and work. It not only has a great impact on informationization ofindustry in China, but also puts forward a new challenge to education reform and talenttraining. As an important part of education, the higher vocational colleges cultivatetens of thousands of the talents with high skills for production, construction,management and service industry. So more attention should be paid toinformationization of higher vocational college. To make the informationization ofhigher vocational college effective in teaching and learning, cultivation of educationaltechnology competence is pivotal.At present, the cultivation of educational technology competence of teacher inhigher vocational colleges is still in the initial stage. In order to improve theconsciousness of cultivation of educational technology competence,to understandconnotation of educational technology competence correctly and to improve theeducational technology competence of teachers in higher vocational college effectively,under the guidance of theories such as the "education information ecology " theory, theconnotation of educational technology competence with the consideration ofcharacteristic of practice in higher vocational college has been expounded usingmethods of literature research, questionnaire survey, interviews and other researchmethods; then the current situation of educational technology competence of teachersand training in three higher vocational colleges in Taizhou in Jiangsu Province hasbeen analysed;then advantages and problems of educational technology competenceand trainings of teachers in higher vocational colleges have been analysed from threeaspects of " theory and the concept "," teaching practice "and" environment and support"; finally the corresponding strategy for promoting educational technology competence of teachers and training in higher vocational college has been proposed. |
