I Heard That Chinese Teaching Method In Middle School In Thailand

Nowadays, with the China’s rapid growth in economy, Chinese has beenbecoming more and more popular around the globe. China has more immenseconnection and cooperation with other countries. Now,with the warming up of’’mandarin fever’’, the education of Chinese has been rather developed in Thailand.Lots of Thailand’s middle schools have Chinese lessons. With this time, choose a rightteaching method for the Chinese lessons is an important issue for all Chinese languagevolunteers in Thailand.This thesis is based on the present situation of Chinese Teaching in SararrvitayaHigh School, which is located in Bangkok. Compared Thai teachers and Chinesevolunteers’ teaching methods. Analyses their teaching actual results, proved thatAudiolingual Teaching Method has its inherent advantage on students’ oral trainingand second language learing. These advantages are more helpful for Thailand’s middleschool education. This paper attempts to forces on the teaching principle and rightteaching method on second language teaching, helping Chinese teachers find a goodway to teach in Thailand. Throgh this thesis, the writer studied Thai culthre andteaching situation, prove the importance of Audiolingual method in teching Chinese asa foreign language. This study discussed the Audiolingual method’s effect onThailand’s study, and it could give Chinese volunteers some thinking andself-examination on their teaching time.At the mean time, to discuss the employmentof Communicative Approach in Thai students’ teaching and further explore itsshortages can facilitate a more proficient teaching. By all means, this thesis maypromte the development of Chinese teaching in Thailand.
