This paper mainly focus on the background, the general meaning, and the development and the practice feasibility of Task-based Learning and Audio-lingual based on the correlation theory of psychology and linguistics. From the contrast application in Korean elementary school, talking about the feasibility, the availability and the limitation of these two methods set forth on own experience which comes from Chinese teaching in Korean elementary school, and how to improve the teaching methodology in order to maximize its performance in teaching Chinese to foreigners as a second language.In Korean elementary school, children’s Chinese level are lower than adults, and their powers of concentration, self-discipline, cognitive level, comprehensive ability are all not as good as adults. Therefore, task-based learning and Audio-lingual which is better to used in their Chinese classes becomes the main problem of this paper. This paper also focus on how to improve nowadays teaching way according to learner’s real Chinese level and study ability, in order to make different teaching methodology plays the greatest power in Chinese teaching, help Chinese learners really improver their Chinese level.From the contrast application of these two teaching methodology in Korean Elementary Chinese teaching, this paper talks about Task-based Learning and Audio-lingual’s feasibility, effectiveness and boundeness, we hope Chinese teachers can focus on this problem, try our best to improve the function of Chinese teaching methodology in teaching Chinese to foreigners as a second language.
