These materials made themost basic foundation of the article, but it is nearly blank about reaserch onUrumqi populace swimming development status and participation infuluencingfactors. in the research of influence factors;(3) As swimming sports workers we needthink about and pay attention to what influent the developing of Urumqi populaceswimming and how to exert the advantages of Urumqi as the capital of Xinjiangand the leader of the whole automomous region.This paper aims to demonstrate urumqi populace swimming status andparticipation influencing factors, to provide a certain reference value for thedevelopment of urumqi populace swimming in the future. It’s obviously can not meet the needs of the majority of swimmingenthusiasts.(2) the factors influencing urumqi swimming events participate in: social factors,climate factors, swimmers’ self factors and swimming venue quantity and waterquality factors.(3) lack of professional swimming instructor, imbalance between the swimmingenthusiasts and the instructors, unable to meet the needs of populace swimmingenthusiasts to learn swimming.(4) Each big swimming pool has poor water quality in Urumqi, most of the waterquality do not conform to the national swimming center standards, hotel swimmingpools’ water quality are in line with the national basic swimming water standard.
