Research On The Application Of The Historical Aterials In High School History Teaching

In recent years, the new curriculum reform is developing all around the country.In the process of advancing the reform of history curriculum, historical teaching isbecoming more and more important to change traditional way of teachers and students.Therefore, historical class must include historical materials teaching. That is, whethermake full use of historical materials teaching or not directly related to the effect ofhistorical class.This article is divided into seven parts,which explores the usage of historicalmaterials in the high school. PartⅠdescribes the research purpose and meaning,including improving the interest of students and ability of thinking, develop a spirit ofinquiry and strengthen the history authenticity, Meanwhile, review the research resultsof the historical materials teaching both at home and abroad. PartⅡintroduces theclassification of the historical materials in high school historical textbooks, includingwritten materials and picture materials. Part Ⅲ explores the source of historicalmaterials, including historical materials in the historical textbooks and other places.Part Ⅳ explores the principle of selecting the historical materials: focusing onavailability; various of forms; according to the cognitive level of the students; not touse single evidence, providing a theoretical basis for teachers. PartⅤis a key in the text,describes the strategy of historical materials teaching, including knowing,understanding and analyzing, giving some basic method guides about historicalmaterials usage. PartⅥ is another key of the text, introduces the usage of historicalmaterials in historical teaching by analyzing the examples of the teaching, which is apractical study under the basic methods. PartⅦ is a conclusion. It summarizes theimportance of historical materials teaching and the guiding role of teachers in teaching.
