Education Information Technology Roadmap Research

Although technology develops in its own law, it works in accordance with a certainsystem during human’s practice whose aim is to improve productivity. Technology roadmap isan effective tool in decision making and management, which can connect the requirement ofthings to the laws of technology with a certain mode, besides, which can improve thecontrollability and effectiveness for technology development and provide powerful methodfor the integrated development of “strategy-requirement-technology-product". Throughsystematic study on industry development strategy and its development trends, industrytechnology roadmap assures that the necessary core technologies for future industrydevelopment can be valued and guaranteed. Furthermore, it assures the core technologies forproducing promising strategic goods through analyzing the changes and technology trends ina higher level and larger system. Moreover, it works out more practicable research anddevelopment program in industry level which can promotes industrial innovation to cooperatepurposeful and systematically and focus the limited resources within the industry to build aplatform for the continuous cooperation among produce, learning and research.Based on bulk data from both home and abroad, this thesis narrates educationmodernization and education information firstly. Then it analyzes the promotion of educationtechnology to realize education information. Thirdly, the thesis discusses the feasibility thatthe development of information should be in accordance with its development requirementsand its foresight. Fourthly, the thesis discusses the connotation of education information aswell as how to work out its development plan, then the paper brings forth the industrybackground against working out the technology roadmap for education information. Throughanalyzing the definition, characteristics, categories and the basic structure of technologyroadmap and its flow charts, the author studies the method of how to work out it in severalmost important parts. The author has been engaged in the management of nationalitieseducation for many years and has the ability of education technology both in theory andpractice. While the author worked in Tibet and pursues his master degree, he carried outresearches on the development of information technology education and had a morecomprehensive understanding to it. Taking the development of information technology in education planning in Tibet empirical research for the industry background, on the basis ofprevious research, this thesis analyzes the present situation of the education information inTibet, and put forwards the process of technology roadmap for education information in Tibet.Then the author designs a set of technology roadmap which is suitable to the development ofeducation information in Tibet. In addition, the paper also discusses the methods system forindustry technology roadmap. Finally, the thesis points out the limitations of this study andfuture work plans.There is no previous study to apply the technology roadmap to the specific theoreticalstudy of industrial development, especially apply industry technology roadmap framework toregional strategic needs of information technology in education, development tasks, R&Dneeds, information technology and the analysis of regional education informationdevelopment planning and so on. This thesis is the first one to start a macro level to regionaleducational informatilization development strategy. Taking the regional education informationfor the goal, applying scientific foreseen methodology to distinguish the concept ofinfluencing factors, this thesis lays out the best path microscopic IT development of anin-depth exploration.
