Higher vocational institutions as a new force of higher education in China, after morethan20years of development, the number of schools a sharp increase in the scale of the rapidgrowth to achieve the higher education makes an essential contribution to the popularizationof the historical stage of development. At the same time, we should see, along withcontinuous large-scale enrollment, the quality of education have become increasinglyprominent. Improve the quality of education to ensure the quality of talents is not only thevocational institutions of higher requirements, but also of higher vocational schools of theirown survival and development needs. Expand the scale of how to improve the quality ofeducation is a very serious problem facing higher vocational institutions, is also worthy ofserious discussion. And learn from the experience of developed countries to this article thepurpose of the study of higher vocational education quality assurance system.This paper describes the United States, France, Germany, Britain, Australia, Japan andother developed countries, higher vocational education quality assurance system from themain body of the external quality assurance system, the institutional certification, professionalcertification, teacher qualifications, Freshmen screening mechanism conducted a comparativestudy of the external quality assurance and graduates qualifying examination content andmethods of external quality assurance; internal quality assurance system has selected theinternal audit system representative of the United Kingdom, and Japan’s self-testself-assessment system will be highlighted; Vocational Education Quality security systemstatus on the domestic problems on the basis of the analysis, take full account of China’snational conditions, to learn from foreign advanced experience, and put forwardcountermeasures and suggestions to improve the quality assurance system of highervocational education in China. Of this study provide a useful reference intended for thedevelopment of higher vocational education quality assurance system perfect.
