The education and economic development are interactive, and they could not bedeveloped in isolation themselves, they affect and promote each other. It is not objective tosimply research the regional issues of education and the local differences out of the economicdevelopment. How to make the accurate and objective analysis for these differences has thetheoretical significance of reality. Many domestic researchers make the accounting andestimate for the impact of China’s economic growth or economic development level ofeducation. For the different model structure, the different choice of model variables, differentdata sources, different methods of data processing, the different selection of proxy variables,they have come to a different result. This paper makes the research for the relationshipbetween education and economic development, in the course of the research, the data isselected after repeated analysis test, and the selected data indicators have excellentrepresentation, and take a different approach from a different angle to reflect the relationshipbetween education and economic development relatively perfectly.Firstly, it makes the research and analysis for the level of education and economicdevelopment situation of China’s provinces by using the provinces sectional data of China’s27provinces in2010to do factor analysis, According to the different levels of educationdevelopment and the Comprehensive economic level, make the classification of each region,and make the classification for the development of compulsory education in all regions at thesame time, and discuss the link between the classification results and the existing guidelinesand policies. And make the regression analysis for the link between education and economicdevelopment for the2010data, to conclude the provincial GDP and education funding ispositive correlation by the established regression model. The education funding will increaseby0.02382units when the GDP increases by1unit. From the point of view of the time series,using the relevant data of1978-2010, make the analysis of the relationship between China’shigher education and economic development, establish a corresponding model showed thatthe elasticity value is0.944956for the LNZS to LNGDP of China, that is when LNGDPincreases by1%, the LNZS will increase by0.944956%, resulting for the established ECMmodel showed that for each additional1%of GDP, and the LNZS will increase0.974585%,the adjustment range for previous error to the current fluctuation of LNZS is small, the unitadjustment proportion is-0.178825. Finally, this paper presents the corresponding policyrecommendations for the research conclusion.
