In recent years, with the vigorous development of China ’s education enterprise,especially under the influence of the strategy of “develop the country through scienceand education”,the development of the education market will promote the education tohigh level and high quality. As the marketization of education is more and moredeepening, the pace of development of private education and training is accelerating,and training institutions is also increasing. Training institutions’ quality and manageriallevel are becoming more and more attention by all sectors of society.The development direction of private education training market is “Marketsegmentation, Brand management and Chain operation”, but at present the positioningof private training institutions is not clear in our country, the bad phenomenon such asthe price wars and homogeneity managements are widespread. In order to be unique andstanding firmly in the competitive training market, it is a good way to improve thestrength of the training institutions through the performance management. How toimprove the institutions’ performance management to enhance their competitiveness,and how to use performance management to obtain further development, which becomeserious problems that need to be solved urgently by private training institutions.This paper summarizes and studies the main theories of performance managementat home and abroad, analyzes the content of the enterprise performance management, aswell as its impact and the latest trends. To be specific, in the perspective of theinstitutionalization and standardization of performance management system, from theaspects of performance management process and content, this paper has analysis onperformance management with the example of Henan HXBY training school’sperformance management, according to the actual condition in private traininginstitutions management. This paper puts forward the existing problems and discussesthe corresponding solutions, using the related knowledge, technology and method ofperformance management, and combining with the strategy of school development and the current business situation. There are five chapters in this paper, the first chapter isabout introduction, which mainly introduces this paper’s research background,significance of the subject, research actuality and research methods; The second chapterintroduces the related theories of this paper, based on the concept of performancemanagement and performance appraisal method; The third chapter studies theperformance management of private training institutions through the instance analysisof Henan HXBY training schools; The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the existingproblems in performance management in the current private training institutions; Thefifth chapter explores countermeasures to improve the performance management ofprivate training institutions.
