In recent years, the teaching reform has set of national wide heat. The reform of physicaleducation is mainly reflected in the achievement of the goal of "Physical Education andHealth Curriculum Standard”. The traditional way of teaching aerobics in high school issingle——teacher organizes the class by simply explaining the technical essentials anddemonstrating them, which makes the teachers merely complete the teaching task in forminstead of teaching students grasp the technical essentials of the sports in a limited time. Thisalso affects the enthusiasm and participation of students, who can not fully get physical andmental development or be cultivated lifelong ideology of physical exercise.By using multimedia to help teaching aerobics in high school, the cognitive activity withmultiple stimulations determines the learning effect of students’ cognitive activities andimproves the students’ learning skills and efficiency. In multimedia teaching, with theintegration of illustration and text and the sensory stimulations of both dynamic and static, thestudents’ interest of independent learning is stimulated, which also guides students frompassive acceptance of knowledge into self-inquiry learning.In physical education reform, the application of multimedia in high-school aerobics classcan provide students’ interest of active learning, cultivate students’ ability of inquiry learning,promote the standardization of students’ learning of action skills, improve students’ practicalability of finding and resolving errors actions, and improve the teachers’ teaching level.This paper mainly illustrates using multimedia to assist high-school aerobics teaching inwhich aspects, and how to use the multimedia to assist the aerobics teaching, promote thestandardization of students’ learning of action skills, guide students to learn in a way ofinitiative-cooperation–exploration, build an idea of "discover problem-analyze theproblem-solve the problem”, and design and verify the effectiveness of designing andapplying the teaching strategy of high-school aerobics under multimedia environment byanalyzing the data of both early and final research questionnaire.
