The “soft violence” in the primary education is a widespreadphenomenon and an indisputable fact which often appears in the primaryeducation and this problem is usually neglected by the educators workingin the first-line of education and teaching, parents and students withmisconception.Ethics, as the science on studying the social moral, can effectivelygive the educators for primary education the guidance of the moraloutlook and values. So this paper studies the phenomenon of “softviolence” in the primary education from the point of view of ethics, and itargues that the formation reasons of “soft violence” in the primaryeducation are very complex: include institutional reason, law, and viewsand values; society, school, and teachers; and so on. This paper onlystudies the reasons from the aspects of social values, educational values,and teachers’ values.First of all, this paper uses the definition, the main features and themain forms of expression of the “Soft Violence” in the primary educationas the break through point. It argues that the forms of expression aredivided into two kinds: the first one is language violence, and the secondone is behavior violence. Here, it will analyze the difference between the“Soft Violence” and the disciplinary education, and confirm the inevitability of existence of the disciplinary education. Regarding the coreviews and values of the people-oriented education ethics and theeducation ethics behavior guidelines under the core values as the standardand baseline, the paper explores the reasons for the phenomenon of the“soft violence” in the primary education, and gradually gets threeimportant reasons influencing the existence and breeding of the “softviolence” in the primary school education: the narrow-minded “successtheory” leads to the deviation of the social values; the “grade-orientedviewpoint” leads to the deviation of the education values; and the abuseof the market principles leads to the deviation of the occupationalconscience of the teachers.The way of restraining the “soft violence” in the primary educationand carrying out the ethical regulation involves many aspects. Accordingto the previous analyzed three important reasons, the paper comes up withthree ways to restrain the “soft violence” in the primary education:respect the ordinary in order to seek the return of the value of human;revere the law in order to standardize the education value; respect andlove the occupation in order to improve the ethical values of teachers andstudents.
