"the combination about learning and thinking, unity of knowledge and behavior" is the pursuit of an important goal of education, but under the influence of the current situation of utilitarian mathematics teaching, many schools focus on short-term interests, ignoring the long-term development of the students, it is bad for the students.Therefore, the current junior middle school mathematics teaching from the long-term teaching the vision is the starting point of the present study, respectively, from the mathematical rational spirit, humanistic spirit and mathematical ability to build the teaching characteristics, it is promoted for "the combination about learning and thinking, unity of knowledge and behavior", so we design the questionnaire and carry out a survey, then use the SPSS Statistics18.0statistical software for data analysis, at last we summary the current problems.Seen from the survey, the main problems of the students are:from the rational spirit level:(1) it is serious shortage of critical spirit;(2)they have the problems of the reflection;(3)the courage of overcoming difficulties is not enough; from the human spirit level:(1) good math learning habit formation requires further sustained and strengthened;(2) they do not know enough math-related stories in history; from level of mathematical ability:(1) Most of the students have not form an independent mathematical thinking mode;(2) learning the core concepts in mathematics and thinking way also needs further strengthening.the main problems of the teachers are:(1) teachers are lack of rational spirit in particular reflected on the question and guide students in-depth reflection;(2) mathematics teachers are lack of penetration of the students in the humanities, embodied from the level of knowledge of the history of mathematics, and the concern of the learning experience for students;(3) the mathematical ability of teachers is to be further improved, especially in the cultivation of students’ mathematical thinking and methods.Therefore, we give some teaching suggestions:(1) create learning atmosphere questioned;(2) give the space and time of reflection;(3) update the concept of teaching, improved their own quality;(4) increase the penetration of the history of mathematics and a perfect quality personality;(5) exposure to the process of thinking, training applications consciousness.
