Songquan Wang is a contemporary famous Chinese educator who has unselfishly dedicated to Chinese teaching and research more than50years. His research areas including Chinese curriculum theory, Chinese teaching material formation, Chinese teaching methods and Chinese teacher training etc. He achieved plentiful research findings in all these areas and made great contribution in promote the development and reform of current Chinese education.This thesis mainly study on Songquan Wang’s read teaching ideology. After sufficient reading of Songquan Wang’s books, thesis and teaching materials, this study are classified to five parts including the explanation, foundation and ideological content etc. In this regard, part I is introduction, mainly introduce the object and research methods of this study. Part II is the explanation of Songquan Wang’s read teaching ideology, represent the details of his ideology and show its characteristic. In part III the formation reason of Songquan Wang’s read teaching ideology is explored in different aspects. Part IV is the most important part in this thesis, mainly describe the content of Songquan Wang’s read teaching ideology, and reveal the quintessence of his ideology:arts come from people. Part V including the enlightenment and significance of Songquan Wang’s read teaching ideology. In this part the utilization of Songquan Wang’s read teaching ideology in solving problems in reforming of current Chinese teaching.Songquan Wang is an educator grew up in educational practice. That’s why we should study and comprehend his read teaching ideology based on educational practice and sum up the experience, seek for the pattern to rise to the theory level. The study and quintessence comprehension of Songquan Wang’s read teaching ideology could provide inspiration and reference to current Chinese education reform.
