Holistic education is one of the popular attention in recent years educationconcept, To foster "whole person" as the fundamental starting point of the theory,promotes the human harmonious and overall development as the guide, cultivates awhole complete knowledge, personal character noble, has the right values, outlookson life of "whole person". Whether in western or in China, the whole personeducation concept has been a long history river touches later developed into a uniqueeducation concept.Due to the high school thought political lesson is devoted to cultivating thestudents with correct values and positive attitude towards life, a clear educationmeaning, the holistic education advocates the whole shaped and calm personalityconcept in political lesson education purpose complement each other, therefore, use ofwhole person education concept to guide the thought political lesson teaching, tochange the thought political lesson teaching, cultivate students’ comprehensivedevelopment, adapt to the request of the ages has the vital significance, hope to learnof the efficiency of the whole person education concept brings to the thought politicallesson, make the political class to return to human nature, good improvement.Thesis mainly is divided into four most:The first part: Introduction. Paper selecting topic background and significance ofholistic education ideas, for domestic and foreign research literature review, at thesame time points out that the research method and main content, and put forward theinnovation and deficiency.The second part:Introduction to the theory of holistic education. The holisticconcept of education on the background of the western interpretation and eastinterpretation, from the perspective of connotation and denotation to defining theconcept of "whole person education", and Outlining the theory of holistic educationconforms to the own characteristic features.The third part: Using a holistic education to guide the necessity and feasibility of thought political lesson teaching. Holistic education theory through characteristicanalysis of the current problems that exist in the thought political lesson teaching,and expound the ideological and political teaching the necessity and feasibility ofimplementation of whole person education.The fourth part: the thought political lesson teaching implementation of holisticeducation strategy. The holistic concept of education was applied to practical teaching,advocates changing the traditional thought political lesson teacher idea, student viewand teaching view, argues that the teacher wants to a good example is the best sermon,students should attach great importance to the development of personality, teachingway should be to "teachers as the center, students as the center, the classroom as thecenter", put forward the integrated teaching method, case method of teaching andconstruct cooperative team learning new ways of teaching, and advocated to changethe original way of evaluation, put forward the new accord with the characteristics ofholistic education evaluation standard.Therefore, through practice shows that the thought political lesson teachingshould be fully absorb nutrients in the whole person education concept, for the societycultivate correct values, outlook on life, complete knowledge structure and talent withhealthy personality.
