Cooperation and interaction are the basic existing form of life world. With the transition of the examination-oriented education to education for all-round development today, people are increasingly aware of the importance of cooperation, a new way of learning also came into being. The cooperative learning dedicates to guide students to promote the interaction between the students’ cognitive development, improve the emotional effect of education and teaching, and enhance cooperation skills of students and others, ultimately enabling students to truly become a learning "master". At the same time, the rise of small class teaching, cooperative learning provides a fertile ground to promote students’ cooperative learning, and create more favorable conditions for cooperative learning and students’ all-round personality development. Small class teaching organization for implementing cooperative learning in the classroom, is injected fresh "blood" to challenge traditional classroom teaching model, highlights the infinite vitality. The purpose of this study is to hope that the cooperation will learn that this has a long history of teaching and learning activities, small class teaching in China is still a new force of organic combination, the two can be better integrated, to play a greater educational value. Based on this, on the basis of previous theoretical literature, the author uses questionnaire survey and interview survey method to study Xigang middle school with three small classes teaching in Dalian, and know about the implementation of cooperative learning. In the course of research, the author summarized some more mature experience of cooperative study in the area. It plays a certain reference significance for in-depth research about cooperative learning teaching activities in the future. At the same time, there are some problems deserving further thinking and overcoming about cooperative learning under the background of the small class teaching at present. The author puts forward six-point solution on the basis of making full use of the advantages of teaching in small classes. They are not just limited to cooperative learning activities of this three junior schools, but also providing some guidance for the majority of primary and secondary school teachers in the teaching and application of cooperative learning.The full text is divided into six parts. In the first part, the author illustrates the origin of research, significance of research and theoretical basis. In the second part, the author reviews the theoretical research on cooperative learning and teaching in small classes at home and abroad, and makes a commentary about previous studies related to the topic, and the author defines the concepts of the cooperative learning based on the small-sized class teaching. In the third part, the author describes this object of study and research methods, mainly using the documentary method, questionnaire method, interviewing method and classroom observation study. The fourth part, the author makes an investigation and analyzes about the current situation of cooperative learning based on small class teaching with the questionnaire survey and interview. After summarizing some achievements presented by object of study, the author narrates the problems of current teaching in small classes implementing cooperative learning and the reasons.The fifth part, on the basis of the previous section, the author put forward the concept of cooperative learning precisely from the teacher’s dimensions; and four strategies. Such as organizing and regulating cooperative learning scientifically; optimizing strategy about designing cooperative learning; setting up a scientific evaluation system to improve the smooth and effective implementation of cooperative learning, suggestion and solution. The sixth part, introspection and summary of this research.
