| Reading is a main way for people to acquire knowledge and information. Only with reading we can have experience accumulation and inheritance, and culture integration and development. With the changes of the times and the rapid development of information technology, the way people read and content showed a trend of diversification. Reading ability has been placed in the most important position in the development of the times and the progress of mankind. Under the current education system in our country, students’reading is mainly concentrated in the teaching of reading Chinese, reading teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching, and it is very important among various kinds of Chinese teaching activities in primary school. Reading ability is an important manifestation of one’s knowledge, intelligence and learning ability. This is one of the reasons that we put reading teaching in the first place in Chinese teaching.However, throughout the development and implementation of primary school Chinese reading teaching in China, we have great worries. In the teaching of reading, through the observing of the class, we can easily see the enthusiasm and passion dialogues between students and teacher, while the test after class shows that students’text learning and understanding are not satisfied. The author tries to start from the stage of high grade reading teaching practice in primary school, using questionnaire and interview, to investigate and analyze the current situation of high grade Chinese reading teaching in primary school of Dalian from the following aspects:reading interest; reading habits; pre-reading preparation (Guide); participation; reading content; reading methods; and reading teaching evaluation. Through the analysis, we found that students’reading interests mostly come from outside, teacher lacks the means to stimulate students’reading interests. Students’ preparation consciousness is not strong, and teacher’s guidance lack of effect. Students don’t have initiative participation consciousness. In the reading teaching, teacher pays more attention to teach the content, but ignore that reading is a kind of ability. High grade students’reading method is not good, especially some of the students have not grasped the method of reading aloud and silent reading yet. Teacher pays more attention to the evaluation of students’reading method, and to a certain extent, ignores the students’thought process, especially the thought process for the reading contents. Students’reading habits have not yet formed.Based on the analysis of above questions, this research suggests the following countermeasures and suggestions for improving reading teaching:arouse students’reading interests; cultivate students’study habits; teacher should give pre-reading instructions; stimulate students’learning awareness; guide students to participate in teaching activities; paying attention to reading practice, advocating the balance of reading and writing; give effective instruction; make effective reading evaluation; foster students’good reading habits. In order to provide some theoretical guidance for reading teaching, this research tries to provide reading teaching reference for primary school teachers in their practical work. |
