The famous educator Suhomlinskii once said that "the way to make children smart is not to make up lessons,not to increase the amount of homework,but to read,read,read again ",so reading is a basic skill for students to learn.When it comes to reading,people will think of reading related to liberal arts,but mathematics,as an important subject of basic education,also needs to teach students how to read mathematics.The new curriculum standard clearly requires that certain mathematics reading materials should be provided to students in primary school mathematics teaching,and students should be guided to read,so as to enhance students' autonomous learning ability.To carry out mathematics reading teaching activities in this context is the requirement of the new curriculum standard and the need of future talent training.At present,the research results of mathematics reading teaching are mainly concentrated in junior high school stage,but the research results of mathematics reading teaching in primary school are relatively weak.Therefore,the author analyzes the current situation of primary school mathematics reading teaching,finds out the problems and reasons,and proposes optimization strategies.It is expected to provide some references for teachers to carry out mathematics reading teaching in primary school.This research mainly uses observation method,interview method and questionnaire survey method to explore the current situation of high-level mathematics reading teaching in Chongqing G district.Through the induction and collation of the literature,the current research situation is clarified,and the existing research deficiencies are found out,which provides the basis for the subsequent writing of papers.According to the questionnaire compiled by Professor Yang Hongping,this paper investigates the present situation of mathematics reading of 308 primary school students in the G District of Chongqing City,to understand the current situation of mathematics reading of high school students in this district,and to understand the district's primary school high school from the perspective of students.Based on this,this paper summarizes and analyzes the problems and causes of mathematics reading teaching in primary schools,and proposes optimization strategies.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn: the students of high grade primary school in G district of Chongqing are in good general condition,but the students lack good reading habits and environment;teachers have implemented reading teaching in mathematics classroom,but have cognition deviation of mathematics reading teaching;the district actively carried out mathematics reading teaching,but teachers' mathematics reading teaching implementation capacity needs to be improved.In view of the above problems,the author puts forward the optimization strategy:cultivate students' good reading habits of mathematics;strengthen the learning of mathematics reading teaching theory;strengthen the construction of reading resources of mathematics;improve teachers' ability to carry out mathematics reading teaching,etc.
