We make a survey of127enterprises for acquiring the enterprises’ demands for the current higher vocational colleges graduates employability. And then according to the statistical analysis and the competency model,we construct the system of higher vocational graduates employability model. This model is applied to analyse and investgate the supply present situation of205graduates’ employability in the5higher vocational colleges of HuNan province.Moreover, the fitting Person-Organization theory is used for analyzing the matching degree between the present students supply situation and the enterprises’ capacity needs for higher vocational colleges.The Conclusions indicate that:(1) The five aspects of the matching degree is uneven, The trait level ability is more important when the enterprise hires graduates while the difference level ability is more fully provided by graduates.(2) the demand-supply doesn’t match:enterprise is in a deep demand for the employment ability such as social practice, executive ability, communication skills, problem solving ability, integrity, sense of responsibility, resistance to frustration, adaptability, competition consciousness, innovation ability, professional knowledge and related qualifications, career planning, bearing hardships and hardworking ability,however the graduates couldn’t meet the needs of enterprises; graduates can be in good supply in the abilities like specialized high technical certificate, autoditacte bachelor degree certificate,which couldn’t satisfy the demands enterprises require in the occupation;(3)the high compatibility on demand-supply:on the abilities of organization ability, technology ability, expression ability, communication skills and decision-making the supplier can sufficiently meet the request the enterprises. According to the results this paper puts forward the corresponding Suggestions.
