In "The Suggestion of Further Reinforcing and Improving Ideological andPolitical Theory Course in College", the Publicity Department of the CPCCentral Committee and the Ministry of Education indicated that improvingteaching method of college ideological and political theory course, it has to openmany kinds of practical activity to improve students’ ideological and politicalquality and the ability of observing and analyzing social phenomenon to deepeneducation and teaching effect. College ideological and political theory course isthe main channel of Marxism theory, the world outlook, view of life and valueseducation. Practical teaching is the important link of college ideological andpolitical theory course. Through the practical teaching, it can combine theory andreality organically, cultivate college students’ creative spirit and participateconscious. It is significantly meaningful to promote all-around development.The thesis analyzes ideological and political theory courses, practicalteaching and their connotation, describes the characteristic, function, basic forms,main content and basic requirements of the course at first.
