It is clearly requested according to the new curriculum standard in middle school that biology teaching will not only make the students acquire related knowledge, but also will accelerate their healthy physical and mental development. Biology, which is taken to study vital life and its discipline, is bestowed with unique advantages for students in teaching process. In this paper, the author expounds the background of study penetrating in the life education in senior biology, as well as biology’s progress home and abroad. The author also investigates students’life education by means of questionnaire and interviewing the620students in Grade One, Tuyou Banner, Baotou. The results find that some of them have no clear understanding about meaning of life and value. While the majority of them care and love their lives,and are ready to help others, pay attention to gratitude, they can harbour a positive attitude to the difficulties and setbacks; they are willing to accept the life education.In the view of above, the author of the paper explores the life education material contained in every chapter on the basis of the current biology teaching material, explores the methods and approaches in implementing life education in biology teaching. The author also applies the connotation of the life education to the teaching process through cases, and has received the ideal effect.
