Teachers’ professional skill is essential quality for candidate, which is a clearly symbol todistinguish the normal university from the other colleges. State Education Commissionpublished the Basic Requirement of skill training in normal university in1992, which providea policy basis In the21st, the traditional model of teachers’ education is hard to meet the needsof the social development, revealing a lot of shortcomings. In2001, The Outline ofElementary Education Curriculum Reform has a strong request for the new teachers.According to various theories and helpless and disadvantages of the teachers’ education, it isnecessary to carry out a new round of training for the candidate, and we must try our best tomobilize all positive factors to achieve this goal.This study focuses on the means of the training of teachers’ occupation skill, which basedon inheriting and absorbing some studies such as courses and practice. We merge thisplatform into the teachers’ skills competition, making a in—depth investigations andreflections on the training of Teachers’ professional skill.First, the writer review and summarize the conception, extension and status of Teachers’professional skill. At present, there are three mature modes and two kinds of modes such ascourse and practical. Second, the writer analyze the teachers’ professional skill throughHuman resources theory, Teachers’ specialization theory, Theory of skill formation,Motivation theory, in order to find out the origin of the training methods. Third, we should doa comprehensive research, including how to allocate the competition’s project, theimplementation, the ways of assessments and incentive measures, the influence and defects ofthe competition according to the questionnaire survey. Finally, the writer put forward somesuggestions and countermeasures as the ultimate foothold of this paper. There are somesuggestions including the supplement of curriculum and practical, establishing and improvingthe supporting system of the competition, framing a bridge to connect the curriculum,competition and practice, realizing the mechanism of mutual exchange and the Normaluniversity need to improve their own quality and promote its activity.
