| Scientific research ability is an important evaluation index of the quality structure for vocational teachers. Therefore, promoting the scientific research ability of teachers is an effective way to accelerate the process of teacher professionalism and achieve healthy development of higher vocational colleges. However, the scientific research ability of vocational teachers has not been fully exert, to a certain extent it is treated as a "growth by forced" by the teacher themselves, which made the existence and development space of scientific research for vocational colleges unceasingly compressed. It leads to a result that the power to support the teacher’s professional development and scientific research of higher vocational college is greatly weakened.This paper researches the vocational teachers’scientific research ability from the view of niche theory, in which taking vocational teachers’ scientific research ability as a constituent with independent "niche" in system of scientific research in high vocational colleges, started with rethink the current status of vocational teachers’ scientific research ability through literature search and the present situation investigation, and then to analyze on the reasons that may affect vocational teachers’ scientific research ability improve, finally find out the effective solutions to cultivate and improve teachers’ scientific research ability in higher vocational college. According to the niche theory with the "present" and the "potential" dimension, a investigation report on the current situation of higher vocational college teachers’ scientific research ability is made. The author believes that the current scientific research ability of vocational teachers exists an issue that the disjointed ecological chain and unhealthy ecological laws on the " present " dimension, and that " ecological features assimilation caused by lack of creative research ability", " the weakness of practical ability caused by lack of confidence of scientific research", " the weakness of support power caused by shortage of learning ability ". After analyzing the reasons of above issues, the method of "differentiation, expansion and cooperation " is utilized to develop the ecological niche of teachers’ research ability of higher vocational college, and the correct orientation for teachers’ research ability of higher vocational college is seek out, Which is supposed to ensure the teachers’ scientific research ability, promote the teachers’ professional development and synchronous development of higher vocational colleges, contribute its due share to the Creative campus construction and to better serve the society!... |
