| With the development of society, the cooperation between each others isbecoming more and more important, which also plays an essential role in personalsuccess or development of society. Nowadays, most of the children are the only childin families. Because of the lack of the experience living with brothers and sisters orother peer partners, few of them can enjoy the joy and fulfillment brought bycooperation. Studies show that childhood is the significant stage for the developmentof children’s cooperation sense and capacity, while games is one of the effective waysto train the ability of children’s cooperation. In optional games, children enjoy a highdegree of freedom, which ensure them choosing the theme of games freely, changingthe plot of games freely, and replacing the role of games freely. Hence, thecommunication between children and their peers increase, meanwhile, the conflictsbetween each other increase, and problems children need to solve also increase.Optional games can stimulate children’s desire to cooperate, training children’sawareness to cooperate, and improve children’s ability to cooperate, so the optionalgame has a very important practical significance to the development of children’sability to cooperate.In this study, based on the combination of the previous studies and the author’sinternship experience in kindergarten, methods such as literature, observation,interviews and case analysis are applied in order to show the status of children’scooperative in optional games, and to analyze the potential problems in optionalgames. As a result, educational suggests are proposed in order to develop children’sability to cooperate in the optional games.Four chapters are included in this study:The first chapter is introduction, which mainly states the reasons, purposes,contents, methods significance and related review of the research.The second chapter states the significance of the development of children’scooperation abilities promoted by optional games. At first, the concept and themeaning of optional games, the concept of cooperation and children’s cooperation are introduced. Secondly, the features of the optional games are also described. At last,the significance of children’s ability to cooperate promoted by optional games areexplained.The third chapter investigates and analyses the status of children’s cooperation inoptional games. Firstly, statistical analysis is conducted for children’s cooperativesense, cooperative emotion and cooperation skills in optional games. Secondly,potential problems when children cooperate in optional games are summarized andthe relevant representative cases are presented. Based on the analysis of the cases, thereasons for problems occurred when children cooperate in optional games areanalyzed.The fourth chapter proposed several educational suggests for the development ofchildren’s ability to cooperate in optional games. Based on the reasons of theproblems in optional games analyzed in the former chapter, effective suggestions areproposed in order to promote the development of children’s ability to cooperate inoptional games. |
