In this new era of information, the amount of information is expanding fleetly. Schooleducation is not only for knowledge but for cultivating students’ creative spirit and ability inpractice and promoting their information accomplishment. As a new learning method, researchlearning has been widely used in information technology teaching. Special learning websitesprovide abundant information resources and a learning and communication platform for theimplement of students’ research learning. How to give full play to the discipline advantages andspecial learning websites to carry out research learning, improve the quality of informationtechnology teaching and promote students’ information accomplishment significantly is a projectworthy of further study for education researchers and frontline information technology teachers.This thesis mainly adopts documentation method, action research, questionnaire survey andeducation experiment. On the basis of documentary work, combined with the features andproblems of information technology teaching, this paper designs and develops a special learningwebsite and applies it to information technology teaching. On the theoretical level, this articleenriches and develops research learning methods. On the practical level, this article providespractical experience for information technology teaching reform.Based on plenty of references, such as journals, thesises and other documents, the first partgives a clear picture of the definitions of some concepts and the present situation at home andabroad. By analyzing the problems arising in information technology teaching, the second partlists the main theoretic basis of special learning websites: Constructivism learning theory,Situated learning theory, Multiple intelligence theory and Knowledge Management. On the basisof above theories, the third part explores the design of special learning websites and develops aspecial learning website. The fourth part applies the special learning website to informationtechnology teaching. Through questionnaire surveys and education experiments, the fifth partproves the advantages of special learning websites in information technology teaching and theeffects of promoting students’ information accomplishment.Based on the above research, the paper draws the following conclusion: with the aid ofspecial learning websites, information technology teaching not only can improve the quality ofteaching, but also can cultivate students’ ability to solve practical problems. It’s an important andfeasible new teaching mode. As for the resources construction, more research and furtherimprovement are needed.
