In the modern society where information is rapidly developing,information technology has gradually deepened into all aspects of people' s lives,education is no exception.Informational education has begun to enter the classroom,and the field of education is accelerating to change.Traditional classroom teaching is no longer the main source for students to acquire knowledge,the network has become a more convenient,rapid and comprehensive knowledge search tool.However,Information science and technology,as the most contacted curriculum with information technology,needs to break through the traditional teaching model and seek new teaching methods to improve students' information literacy.Information literacy emphasizes the deep understanding of knowledge.In information science and technology courses,concepts are the focus of information technology courses and also the key to improving students' information literacy.The new curriculum reform advocates a proactive and courageous exploration of learning methods.Inquiry-based learning focuses on the students' self-inquiry learning process,promotes students' active participation,and is conducive to the development of students' exploration spirit and innovation ability.Therefore,the author will study based on junior middle school information technology.In the classroom,inquiry learning is applied to the concept learning of information technology to conduct research and practice.The study is mainly composed of three parts.(1)Investigating the status situation of junior high school students' information technology concept learning.(2)Designing inquiry learning activities.(3)Selecting the right class for teaching practice and analyzing the teaching effect of the inquiry learning model.Focusing on the above three parts,firstly this study divided the concepts into three categories and used open-ended questionnaires to investigate students' grasp of information technology concepts.Afterwards,through the interview method and the questionnaire survey,the students' needs for concept learning were understood.Based on the learning psychology of junior high school students,an inquiry learning model was constructed to design inquiry learning activities.Finally,the appropriate class was selected to conduct teaching practice.Through the quasi-experimental study method and questionnaire survey method,the students' knowledge of the three types of concepts before and after the teaching was tested to analyze the effect of the inquiry learning model on different categories of concepts.The result of practice shows that,the concept learning of junior high school information technology focuses on lecture-based learning.The ability of students' self-regulated learning is poor,they want a new way of learning.The experiment proves that,there is a certain difference in the effect of the teaching mode of inquiry learning on the concept learning of different categories of information technology.And its effect on the promotion of "the concept of category and classification" and "the concept of model and structure" is obvious,but the promotion effect on "principle and general concept" is not obviously.
