Application Case Study Of Qingdao Geography In High School Geography Teaching

Local geography teaching was in a very awkward position before. Butnow, it has been paying great attention in the new round of curriculumreform in recent years. Local geography materials are limited and verydifficult to spare enough class time to learn.The new curriculum reformfundamentally changes our "teaching" and "learning". Traditionalknowledge has been instead of the learning of ability and methods, whichalso give us a good opportunity to teach local geography.In this paper,the author review the history and the current situation of thedevelopment trend of local geography and establish the significance andideas of this paper.During the studu,the characteristics of Qingdao localgeography case in teaching are aggregated firstly.The quenstionnaires andexperimental comparison are used to build the argument skeleton.Afherthe use of cases,the application breadth and veliditu of Qingdao localcases in teaching is concluded,and look into the future of the Qingdaocases in teaching,in order to establish Qingdao local cases database.Local geography has characteristics of affinity, fun and easy tounderstand. Teachers can make use of local geography cases to train students’ ability. Students need to master methods to analyze and solveproblems instead of specific knowledge, which is closely linked with therequirement of curriculum reform. So,which the article mentioned at thebeginning of the conflict will be resolved naturally away.The author is a native of Qingdao and has been teaching in Qingdao HighSchool for about15years. The purpose of writing this article is to studyhow to bring the local geography in line with the high school geographyteaching. There are six sections in this paper, which consist of thebackground and the research status of local geography, the characteristicand the impact of local geography, the characteristics of Qingdao localgeography, the problems and application of Qingdao local geography inteaching and its future prospects.Hope to apply local geography casesbetter in Qingdao high school geography teaching in the future.
