More and more researchers believe that mental health not only means no mental illnessor symptoms, but also refers to the individual on the psychological and social behavior cankeep a good state,it has administrative levels, with psychological adaptation as the basicfeature.But previous studies to explore to the adaptive orientation of mental health on theyouth is relatively rare. Therefore, the aim of this study from the perspective of the adaptiveorientation of mental health, to observe the mental health status of high school students, so asto make the theme of the mental health is conform to the trend of our times and help forthe school mental health education work to provide a new perspective.The paper adopts the method of questionnaire survey,489high school students as theresearch object, explore the status of Chinese high school students mental health,besides,studythe relationship among coping strategies,resilience and adaptive orientated mentalhealth,following is the conclusion:1High school students more inclined to adopt active coping style.and use fewer negativecoping styles.There was significant grade difference in different dimensions.Grade three high school students are more inclined to take positive coping styles of problemsolving and avoid negative coping styles, the high student are more willing to seek outsidesupport. On gender, girls are better at seeking help, while boys take patience and escape wayto deal with the problem. there is no significant difference between one child and city incoping ways.2In general,the quality of resilience is good for high school students,high three student’sresilience level grade better than oher two grades,.Girls interpersonal assist and familysupport were higher than boys. City high school students from the villages and towns highschool students can have more family support. There is no significant difference in one childor not.3Generally, the levef of adaptive orientated mental health is good for high schoolstudents,at a grade of above average non-only child will feel happiness more than theone-child, and non-only child are better than the one-child in terms of interpersonal harmony.High student of life happiness and exam calmness on the above two, grade three, juniorscored lowest on study satisfaction, exam calmness, interpersonal harmony degree grade three best. High school students to adapt to the orientation of mental health scores and fivedimensions does not exist significant differences in urban and rural, and gender.4There are correlations among coping styles,resilience and adaptive orientated mentalhealth. coping styles and resilience can significantly predict to adaptive orientated.5Resilience has wholly mediator effect between positive coping style and adaptive orientatedmental health; Resilience ihas partly mediator effect between the negative coping style andadaptive orientated mental health.
