Research Crisis Management Mechanism Of Tourism Professionals In Vocational Internships Abroad

In recent years, in the most developed areas of our country, the overseas internshipprogram of the students who major in tourism in the secondary vocational schools has becomevery important. It has become an important part of the students’ study. Students who studyabroad can not only get the overseas’ experience, but also expand their vision and thoughts.What’s more, their international communication skills will be greatly promoted. As every coinhas two sides, the overseas internship has its disadvantages too. The crisis may occur and it ismuch more complicated. With the different cultural background and educational systems,students may not understand the local conditions well; besides, the students of secondaryvocational school are too young to be adapted to the different situations, which have greatlyincreased the difficulty of the management of overseas internship. Therefore, the person incharge should try their best to predict the appearance of the crisis and reduce its possibility,deal with the crisis and reduce the losses caused. This article uses the method of literatureresearch to enlist the domestic scholars’ research results in the study of crisis management.And by using the method of survey and interview, this article concludes the problems in crisismanagement of overseas internship by taking Qingdao Tourisms School as an example.With the development of globalization, the crisis has become a normal situation in ourlife. In the face of crisis, it is completely useless to escape. What’s more, one may lose his orher best chance of controlling the crisis in the process of escaping. If the person in chargewants to deal with the crisis well, they have to have both the courage of facing it and also theability to deal with it. They are not separate, because the courage itself is the basicpsychological condition in crisis management, and being good at crisis management will helpto improve the confidence of crisis management. It is clear that both parts need one solidfoundation, which is a relatively perfect system of crisis management. Crisis managementshould include the following aspects, that is, the process of crisis prediction, the properreaction to reduce the losses, as well as the assessment of the whole process of crisismanagement, so as to turn the crisis into the opportunity. This paper includes the followingfour parts: the definition of overseas’ crisis management, the types and causes of crisis inoverseas internship of the students major in tourism, the analysis of present condition of crisis management of overseas internship, the building and perfection of the mechanism of crisismanagement for overseas internship, etc. The article analyzes the concept of the mechanismof overseas internship crisis management from the\perspective of integration. The problems ofthe existing crisis management of overseas internship are discovered through the relevantresearch, followed by the analysis of these problems in a concrete way. The principle of thecrisis management, as well as the mechanism of crisis management for overseas internship, isestablished and improved, including the process mechanism and the guarantee mechanism.A complete mechanism of overseas internship crisis management for students major intourism in secondary vocational school will be established in the perspective of the overallview and system theory. Since the process mechanism has well served the practice, thisresearch has high practical value. On the other hand, the guarantee mechanism originates fromthe theory, which makes this research important theoretical significance.
